The EV SUMMIT 2024 is coming next Monday, bringing the emobility industry’s calendar event of the year back to Oxford’s Saïd Business School

The EV SUMMIT 2024 is gearing up to make real change in the emobility landscape. Brought to you by Green.TV Media, with Headline Partner, Auto Trader, the summit is returning to the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, on the 15-16th of July. The event will deliver cutting-edge insights, forge impactful partnerships, and drive the future of EVs.

Agenda

The agenda for this year’s summit is packed with keynote addresses, panel discussions, and networking opportunities. Day one kicks off with an opening address from Oxford City Council’s Councillor Anna Railton, followed by a welcome from Ade Thomas, the founder of EV SUMMIT and Green.TV Media.

Finally, leading Ukrainian EV software and charging solutions provider, EcoFactor, showcases the revolutionary potential of integrated technology and AI in charging

Day two will delve into the future of EV adoption and infrastructure.

  • Aleksandra O’Donovan – Head of Electrified Transport, BloombergNEF
  • Andrew Pilkington – Deputy CEO, VinFast
  • Oxana Grishina – Head of Section, Business & Transformation, Hyundai

Day Two shifts its focus towards innovative strategies and technologies driving the future of EV adoption and infrastructure. The day begins with Konect’s panel discussion. Charge Guru follows with a session on strategies beyond public charging, emphasising alternative solutions to empower EV users.

Plug Me In then presents a vision for reimagining EV adoption through significant investments and accelerated technology deployment. Virta delves into the complexities of scaling up EV infrastructure and energy management solutions. Vauxhall will close the day with a discussion around bridging the gap between customer expectations and existing charging infrastructure. In diminishing this knowledge gap, we can encourage the next wave of EV adopters to move into emobility with confidence.

Later, the Energy Saving Trust focuses on enhancing accessibility standards in EV infrastructure through PAS1899. The side event will offer insights into how local authorities can effectively integrate these standards into procurement processes. 

The Oxford City Council side events take place on July 16th. The first session will highlight new procurement regulations for suppliers and local authorities involved in LEVI funding and other EV procurement projects. Later in the day the council will host a Q&A, involving discussions among local authorities, central government officials, and charge point operators. This session aims to address critical inquiries regarding procurement processes and accessing LEVI funding.

Evening receptions and exclusive giveaways
