AC Cars have announced the launch of its new AC Cobra Series 4–electric sports car. It combines heritage, style, performance and most importantly zero emissions. The much-loved classic AC Cobra sports car has been updated for a new age and the Series 4-electric is based on the AC Cobra Mk IV.
AC has introduced a zero-emissions power system that has been produced in collaboration with Falcon Electric. The Derby-based electric engineering firm are best known for their byline ‘making electric vehicles exciting’ which makes them the perfect fit for performance brand AC.

There are two versions of the AC Cobra Series 4-electric available. The first is a 230kW version that offers an acceleration of 0-62mph (0-100kph) in 4.9 seconds. This has an estimated range of 190 miles (306km), weighs just 1,190kg and will cost £148,000.
The second 460kWh version of the AC Cobra Series 4-electric will accelerate from 0-62mph (0-100kph) in a speedy 3.8 seconds. This 1,240kg model will offer a range of up 160 miles (258km) and will set you back £168,000.
