World EV Day™ has reached new heights with incredible worldwide engagement

World EV Day™ has been met with overwhelming positivity this year. Brought to you by Green.TV Media, with returning Headline Partner, Auto Trader. Passionate EV advocates, major automakers, and even football clubs have all gotten involved in the push to bring EVs to everyone.

With the day only just beginning in the Americas, we already have countless activations, giveaways, meetups and announcements to celebrate.

ANC, Australia’s largest last-mile delivery service, kicked off the day down under with a commitment to adding 112 electric vehicles to its fleet in the next two years. That, and a 15% discount on all bp pulse public charging across Australia and New Zealand made for an emobility morning to remember.

Worldwide announcements have included Nissan’s first look at the upcoming Ariya NISMO. The flagship model to rebirth their sporty brand in electric style. ChargeUp Europe has unveiled research which has bolstered the spirits of EV drivers everywhere. According to their forecast, if manufacturers hit their goals, Europe will be home to more than 60 million charge points by 2035. Konect has supported this ambition with a call to accelerate installations.

Megger is supporting the future of emobility by offering tools and guidance for the skilled workers we will need to drive the transition. In the UK, EZOO is offering a free home charger to any driver who signs up to their salary sacrifice scheme this month! 

Meanwhile, Audi has celebrated with a grand tour of its emobility progress over the last decade. Audi’s involvement doesn’t end there. The manufacturer has teamed with FC Bayern Munich to showcase their exclusive e-tron designs for World EV Day™. Just comment on your favourite for your chance to win a jersey.

Of course, the automotive world has celebrated the day en masse. Formula E offered a run-down of their upcoming GEN3 Evo—the fastest generation yet. Polestar and Škoda both joined the campaign, and Ford Pro’s Global CEO, Ted Cannis, opened a live discussion on the biggest questions for fleet operators.
