Supporting Volta Trucks at the EV SUMMIT 2023
Anglo-Swedish electric truck scale-up, Volta Trucks, dramatically fell into administration a couple of weeks ago due to supply chain issues. Volta employed 850 highly skilled people. The EV SUMMIT stepped in to support the Volta Trucks community with an offer of zero-cost delegate passes.
Over 20 former Volta Trucks employees, from a range of different skills, took up the offer. These include: engineering, project management, business development and marketing communications, amongst others. With its c-suite audience, and a well-recognised destination for recruitment companies, the EV SUMMIT 2023 is well-positioned to help the former Volta Trucks team secure new employment.
Ade Thomas, Founder, Green.TV Media, said:
‘We worked closely with Volta Trucks, helping to launch the brand. So, we have a strong connection with many of the people at Volta. With the EV SUMMIT coming up, just a few weeks after the collapse of the business, we were in a strong position to support staff with new employment opportunities at the summit. We’ve also taken on a number of Volta Trucks people ourselves to support our fast-growing business.’
