Vauxhall has unveiled its latest SUV offering, the all-new Grandland. Inspired by the Vauxhall Experimental Concept, this SUV integrates forward-thinking design elements into its sleek exterior. It prioritises technical innovation under the hood.

Built on the BEV-native STLA Medium platform, the Grandland is pushing Vauxhall’s electric line-up into the future. Its flat battery packaging accommodates a potent 98kWh battery. This propels the Grandland Electric variant to an impressive WLTP range of around 435 miles.

The Grandland introduces the groundbreaking Intelli-Lux Pixel HD lighting system. It features over 50,000 individual elements meticulously arranged for high-definition light distribution. This advanced technology minimises glare while ensuring safer night-time driving. Complementing this innovation, the Grandland introduces the revolutionary Intelli-Seat front seats. An impressive feature of the Intelli-Seats is the powered bolsters. These provide lateral comfort adjustment through pneumatic pockets located in the backrest’s side bolsters. Additionally, the seats may offer ventilation and a massage function for added comfort.

Expanding on its predecessor, the Grandland offers increased dimensions for enhanced passenger comfort and storage capacity. With its 4650mm length, it provides ample space for both occupants and cargo. Moreover, the interior design features recycled PET fabric, aligning with environmental standards.

Interior versatility is another hallmark of the Grandland, boasting over 35 litres of storage compartments. This includes the innovative semi-transparent ‘Pixel Box’ equipped with a wireless smartphone charger. This functional feature not only adds aesthetic appeal but also offers practicality, ensuring a clutter-free cabin.

The powertrain options cater to diverse preferences and driving needs. Buyers can select from Electric, Plug-in Hybrid, and Hybrid variants, each delivering exceptional performance and efficiency. This wide array of options positions the Grandland as a versatile choice in the SUV market, accommodating varying environmental concerns and driving requirements.

Arriving in UK showrooms in Autumn, the All-New Grandland signifies a significant leap forward in Vauxhall’s electrification strategy. Its standout blend of innovative technology, spacious interior, and impressive range make it a real contender in the electric SUV segment. Vauxhall’s impressively rapid electrification is well underway. The brand sees an electric future, and it’s following its commitment with diverse electric releases.
