The Aqua 75 DC marine fast charger launches in the beautiful port of Saint-Cast-le-Guildo, Brittany
Saint-Cast-le-Guildo, a scenic port nestled in Brittany, France, hosts the debut of the Aqua 75 DC marine fast charge station. The milestone marks its integration into Aqua superPower’s network. The station’s launch was timed alongside the prestigious Tour Voile sailing regatta, marking a new era of sustainable maritime transport.
Managed under the stewardship of CCI Côtes d’Armor, the Aqua 75 station caters to a diverse fleet including service boats. That includes fishing vessels, and training crafts for local sailing clubs. Sporting dual CCS2 connectors, it can recharge two electric boats in just 20-40 minutes.
Virginie Raimbeaux, Port Director, commented:
“We are proud to present the Aqua 75 fast charging station in Saint-Cast, an important step towards sustainable boating and environmental management. This facility not only strengthens our port’s capabilities, but also aligns with our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint and promoting clean energy solutions in marine operations.”
Backing from partners like Enedis and SNEF underscores the crucial infrastructure support needed for marine electrification.
The inauguration featured hands-on demonstrations of electric boats such as the Vita Seadog and RS Pulse 63. This initiative cements Saint-Cast as a beacon of sustainable harbour management, charting a course for clean electric boating throughout the Brittany region and beyond.
