Porsche adds 97,000 charging stations to US network as the manufacturer ramps up electrification

Porsche EV drivers in the US now have access to over 102,000 charging stations, thanks to a significant expansion of the Porsche Charging Service. This month, Porsche Cars North America (PCNA) announced the integration of more than 97,000 new stations through a partnership with ChargePoint and its roaming network. This collaboration is enhancing convenience for Porsche EV owners across the country as the company ramps up it’s electric efforts.

The expanded network is accessible via the My Porsche app, which allows drivers to locate, use, and pay at most J1772 and CCS1 charging stations. The app also continues to support Electrify America and now includes additional networks such as EVgo, EV Connect, Flo, EvGateway, and Ionna.

Customers with the Porsche Charging Service inclusive period or Premium plan can access the new stations immediately. Those on the Base plan will gain access later this summer.

This expansion comes as Porsche’s electric vehicle sales continue to grow. In the first quarter of 2025, 25.9% of Porsche’s global deliveries were fully electric models, highlighting the increasing popularity of its battery-electric vehicles. When including plug-in hybrids, electrified vehicles accounted for 38.5% of total deliveries during this period.

The new electric Macan has been a significant contributor to this growth, particularly in Europe, where it is the sole Macan variant available due to regulatory changes. In the United Kingdom, for example, approximately 41.9% of Porsches registered in March were fully electric models.

Porsche’s commitment to electrification is evident in its ongoing efforts to enhance the EV ownership experience. By expanding its charging infrastructure and offering a diverse range of electric vehicles, the company aims to meet the evolving needs of its customers and support the transition to emobility.
