The F-150 Lightning Flash is Ford’s all-new, all-electric, tech-forward model
Following in the footsteps of the massively successful F-150 Lightning electric pick-up, Ford has unveiled the F-150 Lightning Flash. Priced at $69,995, this new model promises to deliver on customer expectations while catering to a broader market. Battery and Charging
One of the standout features of the Lightning Flash is its extended-range battery. It offers an impressive EPA-estimated range of 320 miles. Moreover, Ford has built one of the most comprehensive charging infrastructures in North America. F-150 Lightning drivers will have access to the BlueOval Charge Network, the largest public charging network in North America, featuring over 84,000 chargers. What’s more, earlier this year Ford gained access to Tesla Superchargers with the adoption of NACS. This means the Lightning Flash has access to the largest integrated fast-charge network across the United States and Canada.
Safety and Assists
Ford has incorporated their BlueCruise technology. That’s their advanced driver assist for highway driving. The Flash will feature version 1.2, introducing features like Lane Change Assist and In-Lane Repositioning. This hands-free highway driving system is designed to ease the stress of driving.
