Full speaker programme announced for the 2020 online EV Summit

The 2020 online EV Summit has released its full speaker programme and keynote speakers for the event that takes place on December 15-16. The two-day online summit will bring together business leaders and key players working with electric vehicles, energy, information technology, charging infrastructure and other areas from the emobility space. A full list of partners and exhibitors can be found below.

The keynote speakers will be led by the secretary of state for transport, Grant Shapps, who will address the summit regarding the government’s plans for the future of transport and sustainability. This is especially poignant following the government’s recent announcement of its 10-Point Plan for a greener future that includes the banning of sales of petrol and diesel cars from 2030.

Shapps is joined by Thomas Ingenlath, CEO of Polestar, who are a design-focused electric performance car brand that’s owned by Volvo. The brand recently won several awards for its zero-emissions Polestar 2 car, as well as being featured in a campaign with fashion brand Balenciaga.

Julie Davenport, CEO and founder of Good Energy, is another keynote speaker who will address the summit. Good Energy, which was founded by Davenport, was the UK’s first 100 percent renewable energy company and it continues to lead and innovate in the sector.

Rounding out the main keynote speakers is Pasquale Romano. He’s the CEO of ChargePoint which operates the largest online network of independently owned electric vehicle charging stations operating in 14 countries. He also sits on the board of the YMCA of Silicon Valley and is a member of the Levitate Capital advisory board.

Along with the keynote speakers, there will be a full speaker programme that’s split into panels. These are forum based with the most senior, influential and informed people in the sector talking about the subject. With over 40 specialists speaking on the topic of emobility the EV Summit 2020 promises to be a game-changer.
