RAW Charging is offering free charging at its sites across the UK for World EV Day™, including hundreds of National Trust and Greene King sites
This World EV Day on Monday, September 9th, EV drivers in the UK can enjoy free charging, thanks to RAW Charging. That means this incredible deal is returning for the third year running.
The free charging period begins at 12:01 AM and ends at 11:59 PM on September 9th. During this time, drivers can charge their vehicles at a variety of locations. These include McArthurGlen retail outlets in York, Bridgend, and the East Midlands, over 500 Greene King pubs, and National Trust sites.
Ade Thomas, Founder of World EV Day™, commented:
“The National Trust is Europe’s largest membership organisation, with more than 5.3 million members. With historic and amazing locations across the UK, you could say they are the nation’s biggest and most beautiful car park. That makes their locations perfect for EV charging, and EV engagement to the early mainstream audience.”
By making charging easier and more accessible, RAW Charging hopes to encourage more people to consider electric vehicles. As more destinations embrace EV charging, the future of electric driving looks brighter than ever.
Jason Simpson, CEO, RAW Charging, said:
“For a third year in a row, we’re delighted to celebrate World EV Day by giving back to the EV drivers of the UK and thanking our hosts for their ongoing commitment to sustainability and reducing emissions. Our partnerships with businesses in the leisure, hospitality and retail sectors show the importance of destination charging and we’d like to thank our customers at these Amazing Places by offering free charging on 9 September 2024.
We look forward to continuing our rollout of destination charging across the UK and Europe to help aide the transition to EVs.”
