The fifth annual World EV Day™ is coming on September 9th, 2024. This global celebration will unite the emobility industry to highlight the progress made in decarbonised transport.
Founded by Green.TV Media’s Ade Thomas, World EV Day was first celebrated on September 9th, 2020. The aim was simple: to raise awareness and promote the shift to EVs worldwide. Since then, it has gained widespread attention. The UK parliament has discussed it, and even the White House’s top climate advisor has joined in the celebration.
How are we celebrating this year?
This year, the event welcomes a new wave of partners, all dedicated to a sustainable future, spearheaded by the campaign’s headline partner, Auto Trader. They include Konect, The State of Illinois, ANC, Mahindra Racing, and many more. It will feature activations, announcements, and celebrations on a global scale from leading companies, policymakers, and thought leaders.
