Exhibitors at the 2022 EV SUMMIT

WIth just one month to go until the EV SUMMIT the organisers have announced the exhibitors for the 2022 event. These will include SSE Energy Solutions, Geotab and Shell Recharge. Plus, Maeving will be there and exhibiting their classically styled electric motorcycle.

The EV SUMMIT will take place at Oxford University’s Saïd Business School in partnership with Oxford City Council and Oxford County Council, and in association with Oxford University and Oxford Brookes University, to deliver on decarbonised transport in the UK and beyond.

The two Oxford universities and the city council have pioneered technology and policy in the emobility sector, and the Summit has led to significant projects coming into being. This includes Europe’s most powerful electric vehicle (EV) hub, Energy Superhub Oxford.

The EV SUMMIT 2022 will take place across two days on Monday 12 and Tuesday 13 December. It will once again see the world’s most significant gathering of emobility experts across business, and local and national government come together to deliver on decarbonised transport in the UK and beyond for a more sustainable future.

The Summit will feature 10 panels across two days covering the significant business issues on the rapid transition to emobiity. Each panel features discussions with leaders from that space.

Panel sponsors include Visa, Shell Recharge, Improved Corporate Finance, Connected Kerb, Geotab, ABB, Auto Trader, BP Pulse, FLEETCOR and Scottish Power. Along with being a panel sponsor, Visa is also the headline partner for the panel event at the EV SUMMIT. Fleete will also be the evening reception sponsor.

Each panel will feature four leaders from that sector discussing the important issues around the subject. For example, the Visa Panel will discuss frictionless payments and how EV charging can be made as easy as buying a coffee.

The Auto Trader Panel will discuss how to grow EV adoption and how to make EVs easier to afford, charge and buy. We will bring you a full list of the panels and their panellists as they are released.

Emobolity is wide-ranging whether it’s two, three or four wheels. Maeving will be a newcomer to the event and showing off their new classically styled electric motorcycle.

The British electric motorcycle specialist recently secured a funding package of £1 million from MEIF Maven Debt Finance, which is part of the Midlands Engine Investment Fund (MEIF) and managed by Maven Capital Partners (Maven).

Maeving launched its British-built and designed all-electric RM1 model in June for the urban, environmentally conscious commuter. It combines classic British heritage styling with the practicalities of a modern zero emissions bike. We think it looks great.

The RM1 is perfect for everyday use and features a lightweight and easily removable battery. This can be charged from any plug socket and the RM1 can also be fitted with a second battery. This extends the range from 40 (64km) to 80 miles (129km). At £4,495 this is an affordable way of transitioning to emobilty and is sure to be quicker than any car in urban traffic.

With just one month to go until the fifth annual EV SUMMIT, all exhibition and sponsorship opportunities have sold out. Don’t despair if you’d still like to take part because there are still some Delegate Passes available. These passes offer the opportunity to see the discussion panels across the two-day Summit.

These panels feature leaders from across the electric vehicle space and delegates are invited to be active participants, shaping the debate and the contours of the new emobility industry.

The EV SUMMIT is defined by its high-level speakers and its commitment to decarbonising mobility. Alongside access to all of this, the Delegate Passes also offer business development opportunities through a process for pre-arranged meetings called Digital Introductions.

Digital Introductions is an app which delegates use to connect and schedule meetings with speakers, partners, and other delegates. The Delegate Passes also allow access to the EV SUMMIT’s online meetings platform for a full 30 days post-Summit, with its database of 2,000 senior decision makers and buyers.

Ade Thomas, who founded the EV SUMMIT, said: “The 2022 EV SUMMIT will be the most significant yet. We’ve had huge demand from companies wanting to sponsor and exhibit, and have now all sold out.

“For delegates, our unique pre-arranged meetings process goes digital with our own proprietary software solution, our Digital Introductions app. This will fast charge the ability of delegates to attend the Summit with a full calendar of meetings already in place.”
