Polestar UK backs its electric car customers with access to 100 service points

Polestar UK is reinforcing its commitment to easily accessible aftersales care with the appointment of 100 authorised service points across the British Isles. The Swedish electric performance brand is offering this service as it continues to grow its operations in the UK market.

Jonathan Goodman, head of Polestar UK, said: “With our digital retail model we knew it would be crucial to provide our customers with a reliable and established service network from day one.

“With our strategic connection to Volvo Cars, we have enabled access to their service network which means that Polestar owners benefit from the Volvo service footprint all over the UK.”

Polestar owners can access the service points via Polestar’s app or service phone line. While a nationwide pick-up and delivery service is available, the volume and location of these service points means increased convenience should customers simply wish to visit a workshop themselves.

All Polestar-authorised service technicians are trained to the highest standards. Staff at each service point have undertaken specific training to upgrade their technicians’ skills to handle the latest in electric vehicle technology. This is great news for Polestar owners and potential customers in the future as more motorists move to driving electric.

Goodman added: “Our roots are growing ever deeper in the UK, with Polestar Spaces in London Westfield and the Trafford Centre thus far. We have also recently opened a Milton Keynes test drive location, and more will follow in Daventry, Cambridge, Harrogate and elsewhere during the summer.

“Not to mention our 140 engineers based in Coventry who are working on the next generation of electric performance vehicles from Polestar. Now, we can add Polestar service points from Inverness to Truro, from Belfast to Canterbury and from Aberaeron to Norwich.”
