Deepa Chandrasekaran is the new Managing Director of Source
One of the UK and Ireland’s most exciting EV infrastructure companies just got a new boost. Deepa brings over three years of experience in the EV charging industry. Her previous roles include high-level positions at Connected Kerb and Tritium. Now, she’s taking on the new challenge of leading Source’s mission to deploy 300 charging hubs by 2030.
Source was created following a July 2024 agreement between SSE and TotalEnergies. The venture is installing up to 3000 high-power charge points (150 kW or more). These will power up in over 300 charging hubs across the UK and Ireland.
The joint venture is meeting the growing demand from both EV drivers and fleet operators. The UK is chasing its 2035 emissions mandate for new cars and vans. In Ireland, Source’s network will support the government’s goal of putting nearly 1 million electric vehicles on the road by 2030.
Best of luck to Deepa with her new role at this exciting new venture. We look forward to reporting on their successful progress as the hubs spread.
