Atlante is bringing charging to you with new destination charging partnership in France
EV drivers across Europe are gaining more convenient charging options, thanks to the rise of destination charging. This approach places fast and ultra-fast chargers at everyday locations—restaurants, supermarkets, and leisure spots. These transform charging from a daily chore to a habit you’ll barely even notice anymore.
Atlante, a company under the NHOA Group, is a key European player in this domain. The company has been building Southern Europe’s largest fast-charging network since 2021, aiming for 5,000 points by 2025 and over 35,000 by 2030. Their stations are powered entirely by renewable energy and often include battery storage and solar canopies.

Atlante’s strategy focuses on integrating chargers into daily life. For instance, they’ve partnered with Groupe Le Duff to install over 180 fast chargers at 27 Del Arte restaurants across France. This allows drivers to recharge their vehicles while enjoying a meal.
CEO of Atlante France, Jacques Galvani, commented:
“This partnership with Groupe Le Duff is a great opportunity for Atlante and its customers: Del Arte restaurants are widely known and appreciated for their quality, and they are also located in leisure areas that are easy to find. This allows electric vehicle drivers to charge their vehicles while having a great time.”
Beyond individual partnerships, Atlante is part of the Spark Alliance, alongside Ionity, Fastned, and Electra. Together, they’re creating Europe’s largest public charging network, with 11,000 charging points across 25 countries. This collaboration enables drivers to access ultra-fast charging up to 400 kW using any member app.
To support this expansion, Atlante has secured significant funding, including €17 million from the EU to install 700 charging points in Italy. They’ve also partnered with Wallbox to equip stations with high-reliability chargers, ensuring over 95% uptime.
With these initiatives, Atlante is making EV charging more accessible and convenient, encouraging more drivers to switch to electric vehicles across Europe.
