Ayvens and BYD join forces to offer new leasing options and support EV training schemes to advance emobility in Europe
The pair are collaborating to accelerate the development of EV markets across Europe. Ayvens and BYD plan to offer diverse, eco-friendly leasing options for corporate and retail customers.
Through this agreement, Ayvens’ corporate clients in Europe will benefit from customised EV fleet solutions. That’ll include advisory support, operational leases, and comprehensive charging services for BYD’s full EV range. Additionally, Ayvens will provide full-service leasing for small and medium enterprises and private individuals via BYD’s dealer network.
Wang Chuanfu, Chairman and President of BYD, commented:
“Innovation and collaboration are key drivers in progressing the global transition to new energy vehicles. Our cooperation with Ayvens reflects our mutual vision to accelerate the development of NEV markets in Europe. Together we offer diverse, accessible and appealing products with pioneering innovation to incentivise the advancement of eco-friendly lease fleets. Globally, BYD innovation in sustainable technology is inspiring the future of mobility and delivering exceptional EV experiences, while fulfilling goals to help reduce carbon emissions.”

Initially, operational leasing services will be available in France, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg. However, there are plans for further expansion into other European markets.
Moreover, the Memorandum of Understanding signed by both parties includes collaboration through training programs and knowledge-sharing initiatives. These efforts will foster continuous improvement and innovation in EV and battery technology. Pooling both knowledge and training resources is a surefire way to accelerate the progress of emobility. After all, we’re all in this transition together.
Tim Albertsen, Group CEO of Ayvens, echoed:
“With BYD, we share a common commitment to promoting environmentally friendly transportation for a more sustainable world. BYD is clearly at the forefront in new energy vehicle development, and we are pleased to be joining forces with them to expand the availability of electric vehicles in Europe, as well as working together to further innovate around electric vehicles and battery technology.”
This partnership between Ayvens and BYD represents a significant step towards wide-reaching emobility. The fleet focus will aid the service’s expansion across Europe, as truck and fleet charging infrastructure improves across the continent. Gradually, Europe is becoming interconnected by EVs, and this initiative is set to push that effort further into the future.
