Bo expands to Ireland with the world’s safest electric scooter
Bo is making its first international move by launching the Bo M in Ireland. Known for its safety and sleek design, the escooter will hit Dublin streets in October 2024. Lifty Electrics, located on Capel Street, will be the official retailer and service centre.

This expansion comes after Ireland legalised escooters for public roads in May 2024
The Irish government is reducing car use and promoting green transport. This year alone, the Irish government invested €362 million into walking and cycling infrastructure. That means Dublin was an obvious choice for Bo’s first international market.
The Bo M boasts a Monocurve Chassis, which provides a stable, wobble-free ride. The patented Safesteer™ technology helps riders maintain control. Its 1,200W motor and 50km range make it perfect for long commutes or quick trips across town.
Designed for all weather conditions, the Bo M is IP66 waterproof and equipped with bright, 360° Halo lighting. Its dual braking system and regenerative ebrake ensure safety and reliability. Riders can also use the Lock and Load system to securely carry up to 10kg of cargo.
Starting at €2,349, it is available to order online or at Lifty Electrics. With its combination of style, safety, and performance, the Bo M is set to become a popular choice for urban commuters in Dublin.
