Allye Energy brings in four senior recruits for its MAX project, including two former Lunaz employees

Allye Energy boosts it’s Allye MAX project with four new recruits 

Allye Energy is bolstering its ranks with key senior appointments to propel its groundbreaking Allye MAX battery energy storage system into the spotlight. Following Lunaz Group’s recent administration, Allye Energy has recruited two former Lunaz executives. Simon Hodgkinson and Alistair McNeil, for pivotal roles within the company.

Simon Hodgkinson, previously leading Lunaz’s Programme Management, now spearheads Allye’s engineering endeavours as Chief Product Engineer. His extensive experience includes overseeing Lunaz’s upcycled electric refuse truck project.

Simon Hodgkinson commented:

Alistair McNeil brings over 20 years of experience in manufacturing roles to his new position as Manufacturing Director. Formerly the Head of Production at Lunaz, he has a proven track record of driving efficiency and quality in manufacturing operations. His extensive experience will be instrumental in establishing series production of the MAX battery energy storage system.

Also joining are Razvan Vasiliu in the role as Chief Product Engineer for the CURB (Compact Urban Battery Storage System) project and Max Millett joins as Sales Director. 

Razvan Vasiliu, known for his contributions to companies like Hypervolt and Powervault, brings a wealth of engineering experience to Allye Energy. He has been appointed as the Chief Product Engineer for the CURB project. With a background in developing smart EV home chargers and residential battery systems, Vasiliu is poised to drive innovation and engineering excellence within the company.

Max Millett, the incoming Sales Director at Allye Energy, boasts a robust track record from his tenure at Ohmie Go in Australia. With extensive knowledge of the energy market and a customer-centric approach, Millett is well-equipped to spearhead sales growth and market penetration for Allye Energy’s cutting-edge C&I energy storage solutions.

The expansion coincides with increasing demand for the company’s MAX battery energy storage system, buoyed by a recent £650k bilateral R&D grant.
