- Geely-owned premium EV manufacturer, Zeekr, is launching in Norway this month – becoming the third European territory to take delivery of the EVs.
- The fully-electric models on offer will include the Zeekr 001, and Zeekr X SUV, with order books opening later this month.
- With Norway already being a world leader in EV adoption, with around 96% of new cars sold being fully-electric, there’s huge potential for Zeekr’s EVs to sell in significant numbers in the country.
Zeekr enters the EV-heavy Norwegian car market
Zeekr has called the entry into Norway a key strategic move, in its goal to expand across more European countries – with countries such as Germany, France, and the United Kingdom also in the pipeline. While in other European countries, Zeekr has sold direct to the consumer through concept stores, for Norway, it’s employing a different strategy: Partnering with major existing dealerships across Norway, who will manage test drives, orders, and aftercare. It’ll also grow a Norwegian network of authorised service and repair centres.

Zeekr’s European Chief Commercial Officer, Lothar Schupet, commented:
“We’re delighted to be launching our brand in Norway. This is a very important market for us, and our top-notch electric vehicles will be matched to a first-class customer experience, delivered through our new retailer network – a first for Zeekr in Europe. Norway is one of the most advanced EV markets in the world, and I can’t wait to see our first EVs on the road here before the end of this year.”
