Renault announces its attendance at the IAA Munich Motor Show which will be held from 6-12 September 2021. The big news is that the French carmaker will use the show for its world premiere of the All-New Renault Megane E-Tech 100% Electric zero-emissions car.
The Renault brand, which will be present in Hall B1, will have a set-up dedicated to the All-New Renault Megane E-Tech 100% Electric for the show’s entirety. Also on the booth will be a Renault R5 prototype model. This neat little electric hatchback pays tribute to the original Renault 5, with iconic versions selected for the occasion.
Renault will also hold a press conference on Monday 6 September that will be live-streamed. On Wednesday 9 September, for the first business day of the event, the Renault booth will welcome Mobilize, the brand dedicated to new mobility solutions and energies.
Renault are quickly moving towards an electric future which is great to see. The Renault Group recently announced they plan to create Renault ElectriCity, the largest electric vehicle (EV) production centre in Europe. This new electric car development in France will create 700 new jobs and produce 400,000 electric cars annually. This is part the brand’s ‘Renaulution’ strategic plan focusing on being a tech, service and clean energy brand.
