Waylands to showcase the all-electric MG Cyberster to fleet buyers, this October

The MG Cyberster

As MG celebrates its 100th anniversary as a car manufacturer, the brand is making a bold statement with the all-electric MG Cyberster. This modern roadster, which harks back to MG’s 1920s sport car roots, arrives at a pivotal moment for the brand, as it continues to grow its EV portfolio.

Waylands, a leading UK car dealer group, represents Volvo, Polestar, Kia, and MG, across the South of England. The group is celebrating the Cyberster’s recent debut with an intimate, invite-only C-suite event, held at its Newbury showroom, on Wednesday the 23rd of October.

This dealership, which sells all of MG’s current offerings, will give business buyers a chance to explore the Cyberster, and explore its benefits as a business purchase – helping organisations cut both costs and carbon.

With the MG Cyberster starting at £54,995 in single motor form, performance is more than brisk, with 335 horsepower helping to dispatch a 0-62mph time of just 5 seconds – alongside an impressive combined range figure of 316 miles.

Moving up to £59,995, for the dual-motor variant, gives you an even more significant 496 horsepower, bringing that 0-62mph time down to only 3.2 seconds. This model has a similarly lengthy 276 miles combined range.

MG has worked hard to make the Cyberster feel special inside and out, from its signature scissor doors, to artificial leather-wrapped interior, along a multitude of digital screens, angled directly towards the driver.

No matter which specification of the MG Cyberster you go for, you’re getting all the performance of a traditional sports car, while also benefiting from significantly lower running costs, increased efficiency, and the low Benefit-in-Kind tax rate associated with all electric cars. This makes the Cyberster a particularly attractive premium car for business buyers.

Waylands’ wider EV fleet offerings

As a two-seater, the MG Cyberster won’t suit every business or fleet case – but not to worry, as Waylands offer a whole range of other suitable EVs.

As a group, it has been an early champion of electric cars, evident from the large number of EV models it offers. Its dedicated team of EV support specialists further proves this, alongside the fact that all car brands it offers are deep into their EV transformation, or fully-electric altogether.

Waylands are accredited fleet and business partners for MG, Volvo, Kia, and Polestar. Business functions available through Waylands including funding, leasing, business or personal contract hire, and support with implementing EV salary sacrifice schemes. Specific offers are available on EVs across these models, with adjustments available for term length, mileage, and advanced payments.

With the large offering of EVs available, Waylands can act as a single point of contact for business buyers across multiple EVs. The firm is also open to offering business long-term demonstrators, to help its buyers prove the benefits of an electric vehicle before purchase.

Through this significant all-in-one package, the dealer group is hoping to drive EV adoption on the fleet side, by becoming fleet and business experts in the EV segment. This event will help expose the Cyberster to business buyers across the south, while also highlighting the other EV options out there for organisations.

Register your interest on being invited to the event, here. It’ll have space for a limited number of attendants, running on Wednesday 23rd of October, running from 5-6:30pm – with test drives commencing from 3pm.
