The average speed during the test was just 29 km/h, simulating typical city traffic. The ID.7 Pro S features an 86-kWh battery and a highly efficient drive system. With a drag coefficient of 0.23, its aerodynamics help achieve excellent range. The car also charges quickly, with a DC charging capacity of 200 kW. In just 10 minutes, it can gain 244 kilometres of range.

The ID.7 Pro S is a clear sign of the rapid advancements in electric vehicle technology. With its impressive range and efficiency, it shows that long-distance electric driving is no longer a concern. As more cars like the ID.7 Pro S hit the road, the fear of running out of charge will become a thing of the past.

Martin Sander, Member of the Board of Management responsible for Sales, Marketing, Aftersales at Volkswagen, commented:

“We are seeing a positive trend in incoming orders in Europe and are currently selling more ID.7 models than Passat. This shows that the ID.7 is a meaningful all-electric addition to the brand’s product portfolio and, in addition to our successful Passat, is also suitable for long distance drivers and as a company car.”
