Vauxhall and JOLT partner for limited time free public charging in London

  • In a promotion of both the Vauxhall EV range and JOLT’s public EV charging infrastructure, the duo have teamed up to provide free charging at select stations for a one month period between 3rd February and 2nd March.
  • Fully-electric and plug-in hybrid Vauxhall owners will be able to take advantage of the deal at 40 JOLT EV charging units across North West London.
  • With JOLT’s focus being on on-street charging which combine both an advertising board and EV charger into one unit, the campaign aligns with Vauxhall’s Electric Streets campaign – which aims to support the approximate 40% of households without off-street parking, in the transition to EV.

Vauxhall and JOLT highlight on-street charging opportunities in new campaign

JOLT already offers all users 7kWh worth of free charging per day, partly subsidised by the revenue from adverts on the charging unit screens – with a price per kWh charge of 35p after this free period – relatively cheap in the public charging segment. However, this new limited time offer will allow all Vauxhall EV users, both across its car and van range, unlimited free charging across the offer period. The advertising boards at JOLT’s charging locations will also promote the offer, as well as promoting Vauxhall’s new Grandland electric SUV.
