Tesla’s network of Superchargers have just hit the 25,000 milestone. This is an impressive figure for its global fast-charging network that has been developed over the last nine years since the first incarnation of the Tesla Model S. The news came as Tesla launched its latest Twitter account called Tesla Charging.
It was only back in November that Tesla hit the 20,000 charging stalls figure at 2,100 Supercharging stations. The rollout of Telsa’s Supercharger network is happening rapidly and is expected to continue.
With the recent expansion to 25,000 charger stalls, Tesla now has over 2,700 Supercharger stations across the globe to help keep its zero-emission drivers on the road.
Telsa opened its largest Supercharger station on the planet with 72 charging stalls in Shanghai, China at the end of last year. This beat its previous largest Supercharger station with 52 stalls, which was located in Firebaugh, California in the USA.
