Production officially commences on the Polestar 3 in its new South Carolina facility
Polestar has officially commenced production of its new luxury SUV, the Polestar 3, at its new facility in South Carolina. That makes this the first of Polestar’s models to be assembled on two continents.
The South Carolina plant will serve customers across both the United States and Europe. It complements the existing production line in Chengdu, China. The spread production is expanding the manufacturer’s global footprint, cementing their stake in new territories.

Going forward, Polestar expanding further with the upcoming production of the Polestar 4 in South Korea, beginning in mid-2025. Brands around the world are expanding their line-ups as the appetite for electric becomes more apparent than ever.
