All-inclusive electric car subscription service Onto has expanded its fleet with 250 all-electric PEUGEOT e-2008 GT models. With first deliveries expected in June, customers will be able to book the zero-emissions PEUGEOT e-2008 models from May 20.
This news follows on from Onto’s order last year of 300 PEUGEOT e-208s. The company is focused on expanding its fleet of electric cars and offering customers a broad range of zero-emissions vehicles to choose from.
The Onto subscription service aims to provide a highly flexible alternative to full vehicle ownership and leasing with monthly payments with no deposit. Insurance, breakdown cover, wear and tear, manufacturer recommended servicing and maintenance and charging at over 11,000 points are all covered within Onto’s single monthly subscription fee.
This is a great way of driving an electric car without the expense of purchasing a vehicle. The subscription model gives customers the peace of mind that everything is covered. With subscription periods starting from one month it also gives drivers the option of trying different models to see what suits their needs best.
The fully electric PEUGEOT e-2008 features a 136-horsepower electric motor and the 50kWh battery delivers a range of up to 206 miles (332km). Using 100kW rapid charger it can be charger up to 80 percent in as little as 30 minutes.
