Nissan have announced that UK customers can now pre-order the all-new Ariya coupé crossover electric vehicle (EV), with the first deliveries beginning in the summer of 2022. This Ariya electric car is expected to replace the brand’s LEAF model, which has sold over half a million units worldwide.
The Japanese carmaker will offer four models in the UK that will all be available at the launch. These include the Advance which features a 63kWh battery, and the Evolve, e-4ORCE Evolve and e-4ORCE Performance models, which will come with a larger 87kWh battery.
The two-wheel-drive Ariya Advance 63kWh model, which is priced at £41,845, is aimed at those using their vehicle in urban or suburban areas and offers up to 233 miles (375km) of range. The larger battery two-wheel-drive Ariya (87kWh) will offer a longer range of up to 310 miles (499km) and is priced at £51,090.
Nissan’s four-wheel-drive models, the Ariya e-4ORCE Evolve and the e-4ORCE Performance, will both feature 87kWh batteries and cost £53,790 and £58,440 respectively.
The Ariya e-4ORCE Evolve can hit 0-62mph (0-100kph) in 5.7s seconds, while the e-4ORCE Performance can do this in an impressive 5.1 seconds. They will offer 285 miles (458km) and 248 miles (399km) of range respectively.
