Nissan Motorsport makes a return to Europe with the all-electric Ariya NISMO
NISMO is making a return to Europe with the launch of the Ariya NISMO, Nissan’s first electric NISMO model. NISMO, a contraction of Nissan Motorsports, is celebrating its 40th anniversary with the launch.
Set to hit all European markets where the Ariya crossover is already available, the Ariya NISMO marries Nissan’s sporting heritage with a sleek, Japanese-inspired design. The new model features sporty exterior details and a performance-oriented build. It’s designed for smooth electric performance and reduced drag for greater downforce at higher speeds. First revealed earlier this year at the 2024 Tokyo Auto Salon.

Enhanced with high-grip tyres, a tuned Vehicle Dynamics Control (VDC), and an advanced e-4ORCE system. This results in reliable traction in all weather conditions, precise cornering, and strong braking.
The interior of the Ariya NISMO boasts a premium black design with red accents, complemented by special NISMO seats inspired by Formula E cars. These seats provide excellent grip and comfort, enhancing the driving experience.
Fans eager to see the Ariya NISMO in action will have the opportunity at the London E-Prix. The Ariya NISMO provides a sporty take on one of Nissan’s most popular European entrants. Of course, we’re most excited about the EV NISMO experience. Pricing is yet to be confirmed, but we’re hoping this grand return of the NISMO brand to European soil hails a host of follow-up entrants.
