Electromaps and Zunder partner to boost EV charging across Spain and Southern Europe

Electromaps and Zunder have announced a new partnership aimed at making EV charging faster, easier, and more connected across southern Europe. As part of the deal, Electromaps users can now access Zunder’s entire network of ultra-fast charging stations directly through the app.
This integration adds over 180 stations and more than 1,000 charging points in Spain, France, and Portugal. Zunder’s chargers offer speeds of up to 400 kW and are strategically located—covering over 96% of major roads with a station every 200 kilometres.
Both companies are playing a part in Europe’s larger push for electrification. The continent is rapidly expanding its EV infrastructure, with alliances like Spark working to create a unified charging network. As EV adoption grows, so does the need for smooth, cross-border charging experiences. This partnership delivers on that need.
Xavier Cañadell, co-founder of Electromaps, commented:
“Interoperability is key to building a more accessible charging network. This partnership with Zunder allows us to continue moving toward a more connected ecosystem, where users can charge their vehicles more efficiently, regardless of the operator.”

Zunder is a major player in Spain, repeatedly ranked among the country’s top charging operators. Now, thanks to Electromaps, users can locate, activate, and pay for Zunder charges in real time—all in one app. The system also supports heavy-duty transport, an area expected to grow significantly as electric logistics expand.
David Huete, Director of Business Development at Zunder, added:
“This agreement with Electromaps will allow us to reach users who have not yet enjoyed the experience of charging their vehicle at Zunder, the leading charging operator in Spain. We have a large presence of stations in southern Europe, offering an easy and accessible service.”
