The EV6 is the first Kia that’s based on the Korean carmaker’s E-GMP (Electric-Global Modular Platform) technology. It’s available with a 77.4kWh long-range battery pack and 800V charging as standard. As a result, it offers up to 316 miles (510km) of range and can be charged to up to 80 percent in as little as 18 minutes.

The top-end model, the EV6 GT, is a nippy mover equipped with 430kW (585ps/577 horsepower) dual motors. It has a targeted acceleration from 0-62mph (0-100kph) in just 3.5-seconds, with a top speed of 162mph (260kph).

The EV6 GT also features the addition of electronic-Limited Slip Differential software. This allows drivers to enjoy confident control with a dynamic ride and great handling in all conditions.

Pricing for the rear-wheel-drive EV6 starts from £40,895, with the GT-Line S models starting from £48,395 (rear-wheel-drive) and £51,895 (all-wheel-drive)
