New collaboration propels connected vehicles as emobility solution across Europe
Moving Intelligence is recognised for its expertise in secure asset tracking. The company has entered a strategic alliance with Echoes, a notable player in next-generation vehicle data solutions. The outcome is a dominant force in the European landscape. Together, the partnership will revolutionise connected vehicle solutions across ten countries.
Echoes modernise fleet management and security solutions by establishing direct connections to OEM inbuilt telematics units. This bypasses the need for additional hardware. This translates to a substantial reduction in installation costs, fleet downtime, and operational expenses for fleet operators. With integration extending to over 90% of new vehicles and a continuous expansion of OEM compatibility, Echoes is making substantial inroads beyond its French base.
The collaborative efforts of Echoes and Moving Intelligence promise a comprehensive suite of telematics solutions encompassing security, fleet management, non-powered asset tracking, and sustainability. The target audience spans diverse sectors, from rental/leasing and dealerships to enterprises and SMEs.
Patrick Horst, Moving Intelligence’s CEO, commented:
“We are extremely proud to partner with Echoes, the fast-growing market leader in connected vehicle solutions. Echoes is the future, allowing us to connect directly to the customer’s vehicle without installing additional hardware. It expands our geographical reach, the scalability of our offering as well as the services we can provide and, in parallel, meaningfully reduces the cost and installation downtime for fleet owners. This is a win-win proposition for our customers, and we are already working hard to onboard the Echoes functionalities onto our platform and vice versa.
Mathieu Chènebit, president of Echoes, adds:
“This combination is a perfect fit for our customers and partners. By adding top quality security products to our portfolio, but also benefiting from the existing strong footprint in Europe including local support and partnerships, OEM data and a certified device will offer our customers the best of both worlds.”
Notwithstanding this collaboration, Moving Intelligence and Echoes will maintain independent operations. Both entities share a robust international growth ambition, assuring clients that trusted services will continue seamlessly. This collaboration positions them optimally to address the evolving needs of a diverse clientele, promising the integration of cutting-edge solutions with a keen eye on the future of connected vehicles.
