James Eyton joins Monta to bring his expertise to their rapid expansion plans
James Eyton, Chief Financial Officer at Monta, commented:
“I join Monta at such an exciting stage in its journey. Monta is at the forefront of revolutionising EV infrastructure and I’m excited to contribute to its next chapter of growth.

My focus will be on building scalable financial systems, supporting operational excellence, and working closely with our exceptional teams to expand Monta’s global presence.”
Eyton brings extensive experience in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and international business strategy. He has worked with both B2B and B2C businesses across the US, Asia-Pacific, and Europe. His expertise in scaling companies and driving financial growth will be key as Monta continues to grow with the booming charging market.
His appointment comes after Monta’s €80 million funding round in late 2024. He joins a strengthened leadership team, following the recent hiring of Eleanor O’Neill as Chief Revenue Officer. Together, they will help Monta scale its operations and maintain its position as a market leader.
Monta CEO, Casper Rasmussen, celebrated the appointment:
“James’ global perspective, strategic mindset and extensive experience in scaling companies make him the perfect fit for Monta. With James on board, alongside Eleanor O’Neill, we have a leadership team fully equipped to accelerate our international growth and maintain our position as a market leader.
James’ expertise in scaling companies, navigating regulated industries, and implementing data-driven financial strategies will be instrumental in supporting Monta’s rapid growth.”
Eyton will be based in Monta’s London office, further strengthening the company’s European presence. His leadership will push Monta to the next phase of global expansion.
