Milence is boosting Europe’s EV infrastructure with new truck charging hubs and Wex integration

Milence is expanding across Europe at an impressive pace. Just weeks after launching its first UK charging hub in Immingham, Milence has announced even more developments across Europe.

Now, the charging hubs are part of the WEX payment network. This integration makes it easier for fleet operators to access and pay for high-power charging across Europe. WEX, a leader in payment solutions, allows its customers to use Milence chargers without hassle. This step is crucial as electric transport gains momentum.

The company already operates in several countries, including Germany, France, Sweden, Belgium, the Netherlands, the UK, and Italy. More hubs are under construction, strengthening Europe’s electric trucking infrastructure.

New charging hub in Recklinghausen

Construction is underway on another key hub, this time in Recklinghausen, Germany. Located at Kottmeyer Truck Logistic, this site will play a major role in supporting zero-emission freight transport. Positioned along two major European transport corridors, it will provide seamless and reliable charging for electric trucks.

The Recklinghausen hub will open by Q2 2025 and will include:

  • Six charging bays with three high-performance chargers.
  • Direct access to major motorways (A2 & A43).
  • Secure parking and multiple payment options.
  • Driver-friendly facilities, including toilets, showers, and vending machines.
  • A Stronger Network for Electric Trucks
  • Milence isn’t stopping here. Alongside Recklinghausen, the company is also developing a new charging hub in Koblenz, Germany. These projects will boost coverage and flexibility for transport companies moving to electric fleets.

With rapid expansion and strong partnerships, Milence is making electric trucking more practical and accessible. The company is proving that a greener, more efficient logistics network is no longer a distant vision—it’s happening now.
