Driving the electric truck transition across Europe with MAN Charge&Go
MAN has launched MAN Charge&Go, a new public charging service designed to simplify electric truck operations across its European network. Available in 15 countries, it provides access to over 650 charging locations, expanding to over 1,000 across 2025.

This service offers a unified charging solution for electric truck fleets. It allows drivers to authenticate at charging stations using a single dedicated card. The network includes truck-compatible stations that meet the MAN eTruck Ready standard, ensuring reliability and suitability for electric trucks. Pricing starts as low as €0.29/kWh in some markets, with transparent billing and access to leading charging providers like Milence and E.ON Drive.
During its pilot phase, fleet customers charged over 75,000 kWh in 2024 alone.
The successful trials demonstrate the service’s effectiveness and reliability of electric trucks on the whole. A notable achievement enabled by MAN Charge&Go is the MAN Polarexpress. This 3,000 km battery-electric journey from Lapland to Munich was entirely powered by public charging stations.
The launch of MAN Charge&Go aligns with broader trends in the logistics sector, where digitalisation, inter-modal integration, and decarbonisation are transforming operations. As highlighted by Leo Pickford, Founder & CEO of TransitionWise, the logistics industry is evolving into a more efficient, low-carbon system powered by intelligent software, clean energy, and smart infrastructure. The development of multi-modal hubs, such as freeports, facilitates the smoother flow of goods and supports the installation of high-powered chargers, further promoting the adoption of electric heavy goods vehicles (eHGVs).
With the increasing range and competitiveness of eHGVs, services like MAN Charge&Go play a crucial role in the transition to sustainable logistics. By offering a comprehensive charging solution, MAN is supporting the vital fleet electrification process. It’s been heavily involved in pushing truck electrification, with active trials across the UK. With the rise of MegaWatt charging thrown into the mix, the logistics world is facing a whole new horizon.
