LEVC appoints new East Midlands aftersales partner, supporting TX electric taxis and VN5 vans with expert EV servicing.
  • LEVC has expanded its UK aftersales footprint, with the appointment of Johnson Bros Tours and Redfern Travel as its new service and aftersales partner in the East Midlands.
  • The move supports customers of LEVC’s TX electric taxi and VN5 electric van models, boosting the manufacturer’s strong focus on real-world usability and minimal downtime for commercial vehicles.
  • With decades of commercial vehicle experience, the family-owned operator brings additional fleet expertise to LEVC’s growing range of electrified vehicles.

New aftersales partner for LEVC will help keep EVs on the road

The London Electric Vehicle Company (LEVC) continues to build momentum behind its electrified vehicle strategy, and its latest aftersales appointment shows how seriously the company is taking long-term customer support. By partnering with Johnson Bros Tours and Redfern Travel in the East Midlands, LEVC is reinforcing the backbone that keeps its TX taxis and VN5 electric vans working reliably in some of the UK’s busiest operating environments.

The TX taxi in particular has become a key player in LEVC’s EV portfolio, outfitting a range-extended electric drivetrain into the practical and short-turning circle form that taxi drivers require. While it remains synonymous with London, particularly thanks to its compliance with the London-specific turning circle requirement for hackney carriages, the TX is now becoming a familiar sight in towns and cities across the UK. Alongside it, the VN5 electric van has also been gaining traction as more and more fleets make the switch to electric vans.

The new appointment of Johnson Bros Tours and Redfern Travel by LEVC will give customers of LEVC vehicles access to this partner’s service and repair facilities, ensuring that business-critical vehicles spend as little time off the road as possible, maximising their potential revenue.

Scott Johnson, Managing Director of Redfern Travel, commented:

“With decades of experience in managing commercial vehicles, we have built an excellent reputation in the industry and fully understand the importance of minimising downtime for drivers. We welcome the opportunity to support LEVC customers, and our expert team is fully prepared to provide comprehensive support for both TX and VN5 vehicles at our purpose-built facilities.”

Chris Allen, Managing Director at LEVC, added:

“We’re delighted to appoint Johnson Bros Tours and Redfern Travel as our aftersales partner in the East Midlands, which will strengthen the support available to our customers across the region. With a proven track record in commercial vehicle care, supported by dedicated facilities and specialist technical expertise, this new appointment will ensure LEVC drivers receive fast, reliable service that keeps their vehicles on the road.”
