LCP provides over 50 sites across the country as new homes for PoGo Charge’s ultra-rapid charge points

LCP has announced an expanded partnership with PoGo Charge to enhance the UK’s EV charging network. As a major player in the UK commercial property and investment sector, LCP offer installation access across the country. PoGo Charge will install 254 ultra-rapid DC charging points at 52 LCP-owned retail sites across the UK.

LCP’s Managing Director, Stuart Douglas, commented:

“This second agreement coming so soon after the first shows the confidence that LCP has in the proven reliability of our technology, the work we’ve already completed and the new installations yet to be energised. It’s clear we share a similar passion for delivering the right infrastructure in the right places to accelerate an electric future.”

This initiative follows an earlier deal from November 2023, which saw the deployment of 252 charging points. Combined, the two phases of this project will total over 900 EV charging points at LCP retail parks nationwide.

PoGo Charge will fully fund the new installations, which will span across England, Scotland, and Wales. This move will significantly bolster the UK’s EV infrastructure and address the rising demand for EV charging options.

Daniel Rainsden, Commercial Director at LCP, added:

“We are thrilled to extend our collaboration with PoGo Charge. Their proven reliability and speed of deployment align perfectly with our vision for a sustainable future. By adding these ultra-rapid charging points, we are significantly enhancing the UK’s EV infrastructure, ensuring that our retail sites are equipped to meet the growing demand for electric vehicle charging. This partnership underscores our commitment to providing the right infrastructure in the right places, driving forward the electric future we all aspire to.”
