In relation to this pivotal moment, James mentioned:

“It’s clear we’re moving now from a point where ebikes are ‘something that someone else has’, to something you want to buy – and our partnership with John Lewis will help so many more customers make that transition”

James expressed his pride in collaborating with another esteemed British brand, especially within the mid to high end retail sector.

“John Lewis is the trusted partner for so many important purchases. As people make the move to replace car journeys with ebikes, or replace the bikes they don’t use with one they really will, the assurance that [VOLT] and John Lewis can both offer will help to grow the confidence in a large untapped market””

He commended John Lewis for their strict supplier standards, noting that only suppliers of the highest quality make the cut. This recognition left James very proud that Volt Bikes stood out to, and matched the values of, John Lewis.

Emilia Hougasian, Category Lead for Sports, John Lewis, said:

Bringing VOLT to our customers made sense, its values and commitment to sustainable lifestyle choices mirrors our own. Adding such a wide variety of VOLT e-bikes to John Lewis helps us showcase a full range of quality cycling options. We’re proud to support independent, British brands like VOLT and look forward to our customers enjoying their award-winning e-bikes.
