InstaVolt plan to accelerate the UK’s EV transition with 10,000 rapid chargers

InstaVolt is the UK’s leading rapid electric vehicle (EV) charger network. The emobility leaders have announced plans to build the largest EV charging Super Hub in the UK. The goal is to support the UK’s shift towards electric vehicles and install 10,000 rapid chargers nationwide by 2030.

The Super Hub will feature dedicated bays for cars, towing vehicles, and HGVs. It will also include ground-mounted and roof-mounted solar arrays, along with on-site energy storage systems.

The Super Hub will be located just off the A34, a major route connecting the south coast with the Midlands. It will offer convenient amenities such as food, drinks, toilets, and a play area for children.

To spearhead this ambitious project, InstaVolt has appointed Lily Coles as the Hub Development Director. Coles brings over 15 years of renewable sector experience, specializing in solar and energy storage. Her role will be crucial in expanding InstaVolt’s charging infrastructure across the country.
