Daveena Saranna is the Barbara Cox Woman of the Year

We’re delighted to announce that our very own EV campaigns manager, Daveena Saranna, took home the Barbara Cox Woman of the Year award for 2025. Leading Green.TV’s own Top Women in EV platform, which celebrates the top women working within the electric vehicle sector, Daveena has fast become a champion for women within the EV and wider automotive industry.

With the prestigious award now in its seventh year, Daveena joins a growing list of influential women within the automotive sector who have previously received the award – most recently including Jacqui Barker in 2024, Sara Sloman in 2023, and Caroline Burnell in 2022.

The other finalists for the award included Amy Lancaster-Hall, the Group Marketing Manager for Bowker Motor Group, Amy-Jane Marsden, Managing Director for Pro-Tech MOT & Automotive Academy, Jess Shanahan, Founder and Director of Jet Social, Lynda Ennis, Founder of Ennis & Co, and last but not least Sarah Noble, Partner at Deloitte, who was highly commended for the award.

Daveena commented on her award:

“I’m incredibly honoured and shocked to receive this recognition. The automotive industry is filled with passionate, driven people – to be named among them is truly humbling.

The support I’ve had throughout my career from colleagues and mentors has been instrumental. I believe this award also honours those working every day to build a more inclusive, innovative and purpose-led industry.”
