  • Fuuse acquires Everyday EV to enhance charging software and support services for charge point operators in the UK.
  • The acquisition aligns with new UK Public Charging Regulations, ensuring 24/7 helpline availability for CPOs.
  • Fuuse continues to grow, backed by £8.7 million in funding, strengthening its electric vehicle charging infrastructure offerings.

Fuuse acquires Everyday EV to bolster its charging software support

Fuuse, a leading provider of charging software, has acquired the assets of Everyday EV, a UK-based service and support provider. The acquisition strengthens Fuuse’s support services for charge point owners and EV drivers across the UK.

Everyday EV is a specialist in driver support and charger monitoring services. The acquisition is perfectly timed with the latest Public Charging Regulations. These require charge point operators (CPOs) to provide a 24/7 helpline to supply greater support and instil confidence in drivers. Fuuse will help push for this additional step in charging accessibility with the expertise of the Everyday EV team.

Dan Lucy-Lloyd, Fuuse’s Head of Network Operations, commented:

“For Fuuse, this acquisition bolsters our existing support offering, ensuring that new and improved services can be delivered to a vast range of clients and their customers. It also ensures charger reliability and uptime is optimised for CPOs, enabling a better service all-round. This represents the start of what we see as an exciting growth opportunity within the business and we’ll share more about our plans in the future.”

Fuuse is fast becoming a key player in the charging game. Earlier this year, the company gained £8.7 million in Series A funding. The software providers’ growth signals the growing importance of reliable and accessible infrastructure. Their services, now significantly strengthened, will become instrumental to the operations of CPOs as the transition matures.

Michael Gibson, Fuuse’s CEO, added:

“Fuuse works with hundreds of UK companies where charging is increasingly seen as business-critical infrastructure, such as commercial charging or where vehicles are key to operations, such as blue light services, delivery or field service and response. The acquisition of Everyday EV strengthens our position to provide UK-based solutions to those investing in electric vehicles and who need the certainty and reliability of their charging infrastructure.”

Fuuse is driving for further growth, offering trusted, reliable solutions to businesses investing in electric vehicles. As we’re all too aware, eliminating charging anxiety is crucial, and these acquisitions and collaborations are going to make it possible.
