Faast Point sets a new standard for EV charging with 150 kW power guarantee
Recently, charging anxiety has overtaken range anxiety as the EV buzzword of scepticism. A part of this stumbling block is the inconsistent power and charging speeds available at varying stops. Faast Point is solving this problem with a new ultra-fast charging network that guarantees a minimum power of 150 kW.
Faast Point ensures a consistent charging speed, depending on the car’s battery capacity. Many EVs can reach 50% charge in just 15 minutes (for an 80 kWh battery). The network’s maximum power reaches 400 kW, allowing for even faster charging times.
Faast Point COO, Heikki Hintikka, commented:
“Nothing frustrates an EV driver more than the uncertainty of charging time and power. It’s infuriating when a charging station doesn’t provide enough power to charge the car within a reasonable time. We are now solving this issue.”
The company is rapidly expanding across Finland. The first station launched in Joroinen on February 21. More locations are coming soon, including Hartola, Helsinki Airport, and Tapiola, Espoo. Faast aims to open 20–30 stations by 2026, focusing on highways, city hubs, and the capital region.

The Virta Network powers the charging platform, ensuring seamless access for EV drivers. There are no roaming surcharges for Virta platform users, and one-time payments are available for unregistered drivers.
