- One of the USA’s largest public fast charging networks, EVgo, with over 1,000 fast charging locations, has announced the expansion of its leadership team.
- The changes come as EVgo hopes to continue growing its charger network, and offer the next generation of chargepoints.
- The new staff, consisting of two ex-Tesla staff and one ex-GM employee, are already experts in the charging field, and should be a powerful asset to EVgo.
New talent for EVgo
The three new leadership staff include former Tesla charging team leader, Martin Sukup, who was resident at the company for the past 14 years. In his time, he delivered residential chargers and new generations of public Superchargers, and is now taking the role of Executive Vice President of Engineering, at EVgo. The other ex-Tesla employee moving to the charging network is Jeff Inhofer, who worked on both the global Supercharger network and Tesla Solar, during his 10 years there.
The final addition to the leadership team is Alex Keros, who worked at General Motors for over 17 years, holding roles such as Lead Architect of EV Infrastructure, and Director of EV Infrastructure Development. Keros is joining EVgo as Senior Vice President of Product, and will focus on ensuring that customer’s experience with chargers is as seamless as can be.
Dennis Kish, President of EVgo, commented:
“As the EV charging industry evolves, it is imperative that we not only invest in network enhancements, but also recruit best-in-class talent that will enable us to continue to deliver a superior charging experience for EV drivers,
By expanding our leadership team with seasoned automotive and engineering experts, EVgo will continue to innovate and build out our customer-centric network for the nation’s rapidly growing population of EV drivers, who are increasingly relying on public infrastructure for their charging needs.”
