Everrati’s Land Rover Series IIA EV conversion completes cold weather testing

Everrati Automotive Limited, a prominent player in electric vehicle (EV) conversions, has concluded winter testing for its inaugural US-commissioned Land Rover Series IIA. This marks a significant step in Everrati’s commitment to maintaining Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)-grade standards across its range of products, covering design, engineering, and quality.

The classic Series IIA, transforming into an advanced EV, underwent a meticulous validation program. This subjected its state-of-the-art OEM-grade electric powertrain to scrutiny for performance and reliability. The extensive testing covered diverse conditions, including high altitudes, extreme cold, and hot weather scenarios. Such a rigorous approach underscores Everrati’s dedication to achieving OEM-level excellence in the design, engineering, and quality of its redefined and electrified models.

The successful completion of winter testing for the first US-commissioned Series IIA, meticulously restored from the ground up, highlights Everrati’s prowess in integrating its proprietary OEM-standard e-powertrain. The outcome is a fully future-proofed vehicle, boasting near-silent, emission-free driving capabilities across global urban landscapes.

Noteworthy is the Series IIA’s accomplishment in passing electric vehicle safety testing in 2022. It secured UN-ECE R100.01 certification at the Netherlands Vehicle Authority – RDW, a unique achievement in the global arena.

Justin Lunny, Co-Founder and CEO of Everrati, stated:

“Everrati’s OEM-grade engineering, design, and quality processes continue to raise the bar in the electrified classic sector. The Land Rover Series, like all our models, represents the pinnacle of zero-emission icons and this latest example of our OEM-grade approach just underlines how we are going the extra mile in this rapidly growing market.

Our redefined Land Rover Series IIA combines a complete restoration with the integration of our proprietary OEM-level electric powertrain, preserving the vehicle’s legacy and enabling it to be enjoyed by generations to come. I can’t wait for us to hand over this first US customer commission to its new owner, who can be sure they are receiving the ultimate in redefined icons.”

Featuring a 60kWh battery, 150bhp, and 300 Nm from its electric motors, the Land Rover Series IIA offers versatile driving modes, regenerative braking, and a range of up to 150 miles. Everrati’s provision of multiple roof configurations for its Land Rover Series builds underscores its focus on sustainable luxury with eco-friendly materials.

Backed by a network of experienced partners, Everrati’s leading portfolio extends beyond the Series IIA. It encompasses electrified versions of iconic models such as the Porsche 911, Range Rover, Land Rover Defender, GT40, and more. The company’s commitment to delivering OEM-grade products, processes, and quality solidifies its position at the forefront of the rapidly evolving market for electrified classics.

Could electric conversions take off as the EV market continues to rise in the US? Time will tell, but these redefined classics could find a new home in one of the world’s most infamous car-loving nations.
