Electric Last Mile Solutions, Inc., who are a commercial electric vehicle (EV) company focused on redefining productivity for last-mile deliveries, have announced Randy Marion Automotive Group will purchase 1,000 electric vans.
James Taylor, Electric Last Mile Solutions CEO, said: “From the outset, we stated that our goal was to deliver the first commercial Class 1 electric vehicles to the US market, and with the start of production this week we will achieve that milestone.
“This order is reflective of the work that we do with our customers and sales channel partners to understand and meet their unique business needs.”

As a result of this announcement, shares in the Electric Last Mile Solutions, who are based in Michigan-based, rose over 10 percent. The company are now aiming to have the first electric vehicles ready to ship by the end of September.
It’s great news for Electric Last Mile Solutions and even better that Randy Marion Automotive Group will be using zero-emissions electric vans. Hopefully, with more last-mile electric vans on the roads it will encourage other businesses to make the switch.
