DRIVE

Whether you want to test out an electric vehicle for the first time, or you’re looking at options to try before you buy, they’ll be a range of new and second-hand electric models for you to take out on a free test drive.

William Morgan Group is the authorised retailer of BMW and MINI within Oxfordshire. They will be showcasing the latest electric models from BMW and MINI at EV LIVE, complete with BMW’s state-of-the-art eDrive technology and sublime interior touches.

Ford

The UK’s best-selling vehicle brand will be attending EV Live with their Ford Mustang Mach-E all-electric car that was launched last year. This electric crossover sports utility vehicle is already a Guinness World Record holder after demonstrating its ultra-efficiency between John O’Groats and Land’s End. It took the award for the lowest energy consumption in an electric car.

Nissan will also have its all-new ARIYA ahead of its full launch this summer.

ALTERNATIVES TO NEW CARS

Go Green Autos

Go Green Autos specialise in used electric cars and vans. They’re based in Oxfordshire but deliver vehicles all over the UK. They don’t have a flashy showroom or even put the vehicles on public display. Instead, they use YouTube and produce a detailed video of every vehicle, which explains everything a potential customer needs to know. They will be at the event offering people the more affordable secondhand options and providing advice on used car purchases.

Electric Zoo

Electric Zoo is helping drivers make the switch to electric without breaking the bank. They offer an all-inclusive monthly subscription service that includes the electric car, insurance and maintenance, leaving you to simply charge up and drive. The Electric Zoo team are electric vehicle experts and will be on hand to offer friendly advice if you’re looking to go electric.

LeasePlan

LeasePlan offers an affordable alternative to purchasing an electric car by providing smart, cost-effective solutions for fleet management and business and personal leasing. They offer a wide range of electric vehicles at competitive prices and will be hand to provide all the information you need to transition to zero-emissions driving without the huge outlay of outright purchasing.

RAC

The RAC will be bringing their team of electric experts down to talk people through the full journey to electric and the help they can offer. They help with everything from home charging and insurance to business leasing and electric vehicle-specific breakdown cover. They’re also offering free breakdown assistance for all guests at EV LIVE if they have any issues while on Blenheim grounds.

EVIE Chargers will also be on hand showcasing their charging solutions for homes and businesses and offering a £100 discount on their service (home charging unit plus installation) if people register with them on the day.

If you’re looking to find out more about what it’s like to own and drive an electric vehicle you’ll even be able to hear a more personal perspective from local drivers who have made the switch to an EV.

Oxford Brookes Racing Team will also be at the event with their electric racing car for all to view and ask questions about.
