ejoin breaks a world record with its new charging hub in Bratislava
ejoin unveiled the world’s most powerful electric vehicle (EV) charging hub in Bratislava. The event, held at the Korzo shopping center, drew around 200 people from seven countries. Notably, Tesla’s Cybertruck and cycling champion Peter Sagan made a special appearance.
The event was centred around smashing the world record
Peter Sagan used the Tesla Cybertruck to test the station, achieving a charging power of 404.9 kW. This surpassed the previous record by nearly 80 kW. The station’s advanced technology allows for up to 600 kW per connector. It also features liquid cooling to ensure efficient and quiet operation, even under full load.
The public will be able to access the charging hub starting October 1, 2024. Until then, it will undergo testing.
This new hub is a major step forward for Slovakian, European, and global charging infrastructure. This industry is pushing the limits of what’s possible in EV charging, and the results are extraordinary.
