RIZON arrives in Canada, with deliveries of electric trucks to increase in November and the new year

Daimler Truck’s electric truck brand, RIZON, has hit Canada. The first wave of RIZON’s all-electric trucks has arrived in British Columbia. 12 units have already arrived, with another 10 to arrive in November.

RIZON will begin delivering the trucks to customers in various sectors in January 2025. Each vehicle comes equipped with advanced safety features, such as Active Brake Assist and Side Guard Assist, ensuring driver and community safety.

RIZON’s partnership with Canadian dealership Globocam is expanding its reach across the country. Now the manufacturer has three additional dealership locations in Québec and Ontario. Canadian customers can also take advantage of substantial incentives. Under the federal iMHZEV program, buyers can receive up to $75,000 CAD in incentives, with additional provincial incentives available in B.C. and Quebec.

The company is bringing its four different models to Canada, with ranges from 177 km to 257 km per charge. These trucks are designed for a variety of uses, and even come with cold-weather features for Canadian winters. With easy charging options and a focus on performance, RIZON’s electric trucks could be a major step forward in Canada’s drive toward net-zero emissions by 2050.
