The Tesla Cybercab brings a vision of the future to European showrooms
Tesla’s autonomous transportation is making its way to Europe. This month, the manufacturer announced that its fully autonomous Cybercab will be displayed in select Tesla stores across Europe. The showcase will begin in London’s Westfield Tesla store on November 20, lasting until December 8. It will then move to locations in France, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Norway.
The Cybercab is a compact, two-seater vehicle without a steering wheel or pedals. It’s a fully autonomous robotaxi, accessible to anyone through the Tesla app. Users can summon a Cybercab quickly, enjoy the ride, and use the spacious trunk for luggage or daily needs.
Tesla sees autonomy as the next big step for safe and efficient transport.
Data from Tesla’s Autopilot system shows significant safety gains, with Autopilot users in Q3 2024 being ten times less likely to be in a crash than the average driver.
Tesla’s current models, like the Model S, Model 3, Model X, and Model Y, already come with Autopilot. In time, all models will be equipped with Full Self-Driving capabilities, steadily introducing this technology into our daily lives.
Tesla invites the public to meet the Cybercab up close and personal to learn more about our autonomous future.
