Circle K continues European expansion with largest charging hub in Sweden
Circle K has opened its largest electric vehicle (EV) charging hub worldwide. The new flagship station is in Järna, Sweden. It marks a major step forward in the company’s EV charging expansion. The North American based company has been making its presence known in Europe, and, with a mix of fast-charging and location convenience, could become a leading player in the industry.

The station features 26 ultra-fast charging points for both light and heavy vehicles. A covered charging area with solar panels provides sustainable energy for charging. Inside, customers can enjoy an upgraded store with expanded food options, seating, and car-side delivery.

Circle K already offers EV charging at more than one-third of its manned stations. So far, the company has invested in 300 kW ultra-fast chargers. Looking ahead, it plans to roll out 400-kW chargers for light vehicles.
Circle K’s EV network is growing fast. The company originally aimed for 1,000 ultra-fast charging points by 2030. Now, it expects to reach that milestone by 2026.
As of February 2024, Circle K operates 565 charging points across Sweden. It is also expanding its infrastructure for heavy vehicles, ensuring more options for all EV drivers.
