BYD Unveils ‘Shark’ Pickup with Off-Road DMO Tech
BYD, the Chinese EV manufacturer, announced that its debut electric pickup truck will be named the BYD Shark.
The truck introduces a groundbreaking system known as Dual Mode Off-Road (DMO). This system, developed to enhance off-road performance, is designed to improve driving experiences on rugged terrain.
BYD announced this on Weibo, without revealing the truck’s price, just days before the Beijing Autoshow begins this Thursday.
The announcement post is brief, with a poster that reads, “BYD Shark with DMO technology coming soon.”
